Gait Analysis
Gait analysis is used to assess the way you walk or run. It provides insight into timing, pressure distribution and alignment. We use computerised gait analysis (CGA) to identify subtle abnormalities that may lead to pain in the feet, knees, hips or back. CGA is often part of a full musculoskeletal assessment and provides data to support diagnosis and treatment planning.
How we can help
We will carry out CGA to assess how your feet function while moving. If your gait contributes to pain or injury, we will explain the findings clearly and recommend appropriate treatment. This may include customised orthoses, exercises to improve muscle function or advice on footwear. CGA enables us to monitor yourprogress and ensure your treatment is effective.
